NATIONAL FOOD was created in the 60s by a visionary family who had the idea to produce in South Florida one of the most desired and original foods of the Tropics, the plantain chips.
Our manufacturing plant ARA Food Corp. has produced for over three decades this original snack and in 1984 our family group acquired National Food, consolidating the production in our own plant and maintaining National Food as a distribution company. The plantain chip with its peculiar characteristics has become the most popular of all Tropical snacks.
We then added a complete line of tropical snacks such as cassava chips, pork rinds, and white sweet potato chips. In addition we included an entire line of conventional snacks to provide a complete selection to our customers.
We currently import delicious biscuits, toasts, lady fingers, and other premium items. We continue to search within the country and overseas for other lines of products.
We have also created a Health Food Division with a wide range of sugar free selections.
We are always exploring and selecting other products that comply with three essential traits: originality, quality and attractive pricing.
We welcome suppliers and clients that can offer stability, dedication and originality to help continue our constant growth and development.
